The base is chicken stock and you need also celery, leeks ( white parts), potatoes. In the recipe they say to get one cream 22% fat and a few table spoons of heavy cream 36%. This is typical for recipes in Poland that everything is very fat. So I added not 22% cream but 12% instead and it was very creamy and good enough . I added 36% heavy cream too.
It turned out to be very yummy as cooler, with chopped tomato and fresh chives on top. Then I tried to simmer it to be warm but not cooked of course.
It was even better warm with fried small bread crumbs on top

The soup looks quite creamy and healthful! I would love to find some 36% cream to try. What I can find over here is usually 30%...
ReplyDeleteIn the recipe they say to blend it but I did not and it was creamy enough. We have 30% and 36%, and less fat you can buy 22% or 20% or 12%
